When I came upon this very old Sign back in December 2000, It seemed to me that this would be the kind of photograph that the famous writer and Photographer WILLIAM CHRISTENBERRY ( from Alabama USA) might photograph. So I decided to try my "luck" at a simple, straight foward photograph-beautiful color and simplicity. Though Mr. Christenberry is primarily known as a writer, he is a great photographer. My photograph is on Kodak paper, from Fujicolor 100 film, 8x10 in size. It is also mounted on 11x14 archaival mount.

A nostaligic capture of `signs` of time that have gone by.
Lovely contrasts with nice details and a great capture of mood. Well seen and taken. The `South`...always old, but now striving to be in all ways new.
