I follow deer paths to get to this place, walking through the still, cold morning air. Past the ruins of old logging cabins, smelling of old wood and tar. Through the woods I walk silently so as not to awaken the trees. Over the last hill, then down to the flat land, brushing aside the bushes and tree branches that cling to me as if to hold me back, saying "you have no place here!". I step carefully as I get closer to avoid the wet, wet deep places. Then I part the last of the tall grasses and I see it - my secret place... !

What a beautiful scene. What I really like is the graceful arch of the tree...almost as if she will be the first one to be `skinny-dipping` in the autumnal waters. smile )
