A nice dainty picture but where`s the bloom? These `flowers` could as well be of paper. Allusion to chineese art undoubtedly (Indian ink painting). The image survives owing to the dark suggestive background alone.

Интересно в чёрно белом цвете. Может тогда надо было вообще на чисто чёрном фоне это сделать?

А у меня почему-то противоположная Лилии мысль возникла - может фон светлее? Не слушайте никого - замечательная работа!

I guess you`re right, or at least close. A lot of people seem to get into a flower phase. This is an unexpected photo from you and honestly, I don`t know why you bothered with this. Maybe it`s a point more about that "phase" than about the photograph itself. Your other work holds such high quality, both technically AND (more importantly) creatively that this doesn`t make much sense to me. Sorry, I know I`m being a little hard here now, but I think you can take it wink

Marius : T H A N K S ... that is actually exactly the thing i wanted to hear - sometimes it really feels that no matter what you do, people would like it because of the author. THank god some people still see the picture and try to judge that. that`s why i am still a bit surprised about a 4+ - in my opinion this picture should be in the fours at most. To be quite blunt - i was just testing how the lense would perform in macro area, it was the second day that i`ve had it. I still think that the image has it`s decorative qualities, despite riding on a number of cliches beaten to death, but i agree that by my own standards it`s nowhere near shots that i would be proud to call my own. thanks again.
