these nomadic grazers of himalays called bakerwals migrate to alpine pastures of kashmir in summer and back to warm shivalik foothills in winter, spending a few days with them on migration was an experience of lifetime.....

thank you dear friend, life's story is very simple ,but harsh and at the same time uncomplicated,..... this old shepherd women walked the whole night accompanied by her faithful kashmir mastif dog, the photo was taken when she had just arrived base camp.....
