Copenhagen - Round Tower. Built during the reign of Christian IV from 1637 to 1642. The tower's height - 36 meters. Stages it does not - leads up a gentle spiral ascent of 210 meters. In 1716 Peter I rode on top of the tower on horseback carrying a carriage with his wife, the future Empress Catherine I. From the top of the tower offers a breathtaking view of the old Copenhagen.
