This is a great subject, and excellent composition. It`s let down, though, by the extreme contrast range, and the blown out highlights. There`s tons of shadow detail that can be brought out by selecting areas and then using levels, but the highlight areas don`t have enough information. It would be great if you could reshoot this using -1 stop of exposure (or maybe more) so there`d be more detail in the highlights. You could then use "levels" selectively around the picture to bring out all of the wonderful forms and texture.
