I think I need a break from video-clip and internet kitsch and dramatized pictures and get back to (mitigated) realistic, everyday life photos, somehow in the manner in which they were really made in those photo-glorious days of the 30s and 40s, by just being there and looking, without going after the picturesque. References: Eggleston, Abbot , Robert Adams, Callahan (Providence photos), Lee Friedlander, etc., but mostly Robert Frank`s "Parade". This should cure me from the memory of "Moonrise over Hernandez" and "Clearing Winter Storm", at least for a while.
