He looks frozen time... with the world of the young swirling about him. Very nice.

A few things I would have done to make the photo interesting: Crop both the right and left sides to get rid of the distracting clutter and then blur the backround to focus more intently on the subject. IMO then you`d have something more "eye catching."

I have a different opinion of this photo. First... I wouldn`t change a thing. My impression of this is that the world around this sweet old guy is going by at a blinding (and blurred) pace. The old guy looks lost in his own isolated world. There is a loss of purpose on his face and in his eyes. Maybe a little fright at the possiblility of being swept up in the maddening pace of the people around him. I am sad and I am concerned. I think about and remember my grandfather with sadness. This is a very good and moving image...

There`s nothing I could add to what Todd has already said. I feel that he has voiced my thoughts about the image very well. A wonderful photograph.

To crop this would be to completely ignore the sense of loneliness that is evoked by this image -0 an old man lost in the hustle and bustle of the cold, and uncaring world, not uncaring - unoticing - too fast it passes by to see any one in it. Well done.

He looks so worried, forlorn, yet keeps his pride and dignity in the world of young and energetic. This one is so touching, I love it.
