notes:
I made this photo in February in the small town of Gars am Kamp in Lower Austria. The original was in color, but I liked the black and white version more. Actually, this picture is not pure gray scale, but rather a slightly colorized red component of the initial image.

Very impressive, sure makes an impact. One "complain" though - the older male figure`s head is begging to be slightly more separated from the background - just a little bit more definition, to have it stand out more.

Аленка К.: Thanks, that`s exactly why I waited six months before posting this photo smile I took the picture while facing the sun, and as a result the statue turned much darker than I wanted. The was no real point in "repairing" this in a software package, because many details got lost and trying to lighten the statue simply made it look unnatural. I wish I had a torch with me... but it`s not something one thinks of when one goes for a short hike on a sunny day smile

[2] heh smile thought that after a prolonged incubation period something different might hatch out? smile I`m glad you posted it anyway. The darkening is only a minor flaw. Cheers! smile

Quite dramatic Nikolai! Almost an infrared....

Highly dramatic. The clouds are a stand out.

This is pretty spooky. I sure wish the statues were lighter with more definition. But you know that, and I am glad you posted it anyway.
