Dean I am far away from being an expert but this is what I did.
you set your camera on a tripod.
increase the Aperture to 22 or 32 if your lens allows it.
Let the camera choose the speed.
It should be around 1 sec or more to get the water movement that way.its better to try it on cloudy days less light and because of this longer exposures.
