Simply beautiful!
Hmm... At 1280 by 1024 (16 bit color) the sky had terrible jaggies... but at 1152 by 864 (32 bit color) it is PERFECT!
I`ll figure this new monitor out yet! Nice work.
Hi Douglas, first of all this is terrific and great work next question, what is the meaning of these stacks of rocks on shorelines? I have seen these in Bonaire, in the Netherland Antilles, and never quite understood what they mean...can you explain?
Very, very nice!
Very beautiful and almost magical. A great composition!
Very interesting place, maybe quite mysterious.
cairns were stones piled together to mark something – whether for the living to have a reference point in their meanders or for the same to remember one dead on that particular spot
some of these here have crosses on top of them so they could be memorials the last two seem bare of any such thing but that means nothing there are hoodlums everywhere – common knowledge
the great variety of stone – in terms of format and shape and size and colour - is amazing
the sky and the sea eventually merge to show this is a closed universe and no one is free and all have to perish some day sooner rather than later
there is no sadness though
the light in the yellow block of the first cairn to the right is so powerful if almost gives hope
