I am one of the founders of APAF (Portuguese Association for Photographic Art), where I have been executive secretary from 1973 to the beginning of the eighties, when I became permanent contributor of the professional magazines "FotoJornal" and "Revista Nova Imagem".
I have participated in several photography art exhibitions and I was co-author of one of the first non commercial slideshows produced in Portugal, in 1979.
My professional activity, intensely connected with the new technologies, allowed me to rediscover the magic of the development laboratory...yet no longer with chemicals and silver salts, but with image processing by methods of informatics.
