I have always been interested in Photography (sparked by my uncle at an early age) but until recently my experience has only been with point & shoot cameras and primarily portraits (many of snapshot nature :). In May of 2007, I decided to spend some more time on my newly re-discovered hobby and bought a Nikon D80 kit. Unfortunately, while on holiday in Hawaii in July of 2008 my D80 was stolen from my rental car. However, as it seems every cloud has a silver lining, I took the opportunity to upgrade to a D300. I currently live in Hong Kong and will be taking shots from my travels around the world. Hopefully, my photos will evolve and improve based on your comments and suggestions.
