I have been interested in photography as a hobby for 9 years and am a memeber of Lea Valley Photographic Society, based in South-East Hertfordshire, England. My main interest is in anything to do with nature, especially macro shots of insects and landscapes. Also take railway photographs, mostly of the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway, a preserved line in the Cotswolds. My favourite equipment for macro is my old Canon EOS 1000 with 90mm Tamron lens and Cobra macroflash. I have just acquired a Sony DSC-F505V digital camera which I am putting through its paces...it is bitingly sharp (Carl Zeiss lens) with a 5x optical (10x digital) zoom. I am very pleased with it so far!!
