This was taken at a local pet-show Sunday..99.99% of the entries were pets accompanied by young people..Most of the animals quite nervous...lots of barking,etc,etc. I noticed a very elderly gentleman, sitting on a stoop...at his side was this beautiful dog....As he gently stroked his pet ..I was touched by that reassuring,sweet moment of man and his best friend ....The hand was that of such a caring person....my heart warmed as I tried to capture the simple gesture...
