This is a corn snake that we have at the park named Selu, which is the Cherokee word for corn. We use her for educational reptile programs. I think it`s interesting how the scales/skin stretches, and the jaws unhinge to accommodate the size of their prey. This rat was not alive when I fed Selu, we purchase frozen rats. Try finding those at the grocery store. :)
