such a powerful image....what city is this near?? I am in South-western Virginia...and..Tennessee border is 15 miles south ...the detail of those massive trunks is remarkable...good dof....

to 6: No. We got a fishing boat and spent about 3 hours around.
to 7: It`s right above Memphis, TN - ~2.5 hours drive.

[9] 4yl -- ["5-" Отлично. Оригинальная, технически и композиционно грамотная работа.] (из Системы Оценок Photoforum.Ru). Так что криминала я тоже не вижу. И вообще, разве Вы не заметили, что я одна из строжайше-суровейших "оценщиков" на сайте? ) Здесь, например, мне не очень нравится, что обрезан уголок дерева в ЛНУ, несовсем по душе розоватость фона вдали, и непонятно, почему справа хвоя - выцветшая, а по центру буро-зелёная. Т.е., я допускаю, конечно, что все именно так и было, но не уверена выгодны ли такие сочетания в данном снимке. Вот

I love the adventure you put me in here. The water swamping the trees means beware of reptiles. The sense of intimacy of the place without losing light to make all the details pop out at the viewer is a wonderful accomplishment.

This one is for my favorites.
