I woud prefer the focus to be on the background, you really want to tell us mostly about the landscape, dont you?

A Lagoa do Fogo e uma das mais bonitas de S. Miguel e embora eu goste bastante deste enquadramento acho que falta definicao, foco, profundidade de campo...sao coisas que se podem corrigir com alguma facilidade e esta Lagoa merece isso tudo!!!

My idea when taking this photo, was not to focus on the lagoon, i have seen many pictures of the lagoon, and they all look the same, this was my atempt to make something diferent, and when i saw that dry looking plant i thought it would be a interesting picture using that dry looking plant and the lagoon to make some contrast. If i wanted to focus on the lagoon the plant would not have been in the picture, since i had to hold it with my hand because of the wind. I felt i had to give this explanation of what i was trying to do. Thanks for your comments
