Travel short, therefore quickly we leave(abandon) Yaroslavl and we move to city Plyos. This favourite place of great Russian artist-landscape writer I.I.Levitan.
Uspenskij the cathedral is constructed right at the end XVII century on a place of the wooden church which have burned down in 1695. The cathedral belongs to type widely distributed in Russia small churches with a belltower and refectory. His founders wanted to repeat in a stone habitual for the townspeople shape of a wooden temple. The decor of church is executed in traditions of stone old russian architecture.
The attention ascetism of architectural forms of a cathedral pays to itself. It speaks a uncooperative altitude of fathers of church to rich architectural a baroque.
