notes:
I used a Fuji digital for the toadstools. The girl was taken in black and white in the studio, colour was added digitally. The wings were drawn, painted and photographed digitally. Great fun!

To Jeak,
The wings proved to be the greatest challenge in this picture but I am pleased to share how I did them. To start with I made a drawing of how I saw the shape of the wings, drew in the veins and then delicately coloured them with watercolours. I then photographed my picture put it into photoshop, made a selection of the painting and dragged it on to the "Fairy". Scaled it to fit and erased the parts I did not need. In layers I reduced the opacity until just a hint of the grass behind could be seen. I then used "Plastic wrap" to give the gossamer effect. You have to play around a little to get the final effect.
Hope this helps,
Pete
