Gone Fishing (for Jouko)

notes:
For people who love fishing, this is beautiful King Salmon, (~22 pounds = ~10 kg) from the Wallace River, Washington.

This shot is made with Canon PowerShot S50 so the overall quality is not good, I know that, but that is not important in this case...thank you!

That is my friend Dee.

Wow... hvat at big salmon. The lantisk name is "Salamon solaris".
You are a fisher Sanjin?

Sanjin Lopatic Sanjin Lopatic #6 mon 4 Oct 2004 22:13

Thank you Arvid, I like to fish but to catch something is not important to me, I like to be in the nature, walk up and down in some beautiful river.
I like the latin name you gave to this Salmon.

Thanks!

Sanjin

Sve najljepse,
Sanjin

You he is a luck fisherman!!
Delicious picture Sanjin, regards!

Thank you Fernando.
...very lucky indeed, no police came that day...:)
That bridge is the border between closed and open water, right side is open and left side is closed, during the battle fish went up so he had to follow. Very strong fish, hard to keep it on the line.

Sanjin

Sanjin Lopatic Sanjin Lopatic #9 mon 4 Oct 2004 22:38

Thanks Jouko, you won`t believe me but this is a medium size, this fish gets very big and strong. Last year I have cought a Steelhead (it`s like Trout) 32 inches (~80 centimeters) and 18 pounds (~8 kg), this was something speacial. I have garage full of broken fishing rods.

Take care,
Sanjin
