Mary, there seem to be some heavy odd-looking artifacts in upper right. Don`t know what to make of it.
what a outstasnding composition of luminesence. If you could alter the overlay of one flower on another through Yankee engininuity you might even improve this image.

Flowers on black backgrounds were getting quite common on here a couple of months back. I still love them...and few more so that this one! You have captured the delicate translucence perfectly...exposure could not be bettered, and a great dynamic composition.too!
Well, since Al mentioned them as well, I guess I`m not the only one "seeing" things. My apologies, Mary, but this is a major distraction for me in addition to the oversharpening of the image. The lighting on the blooms is lovely, but few details can be discerned. I`m not altogether thrilled with this photo 
It looks light the flowers are glowing. Great job Mary!
