composition is top-notch; gotta love the tree being encircled by the banks. the presence of human figures, above all else, makes this very much painterly in appearance. but that digitalized neon-blue streak in the sky is a major eye sore. if you aren`t a purist and don`t mind using a photo-editor once a while, i`d recommend working on the sky in this photo - it`s worth it. I also think it`s oversharpened a bit. P.S. I don`t know what I was waiting for - you are going into my favorite photographers file )

What a totally perfect photo. The clarity, the colours, the composition...everything is just so perfect. Tell me, is this in the same area you took the photo "Ducks", one of my all time favorites? The colours reminds me of it. You should post that one here.
