one of the many coal mine pit wheels in decay, Wales at one time was world renowned for its coal production, now these towers are all but gone. healthier living from decreased pollution but increased unemployment, which is better ? I suppose it depends who you ask, the enviromentalist or the man who can no longer work !

I really like this photo. The vertical choice is totally adapted and the moment very well chosen. We also have these silhouettes in our north regions in France. The photographer is the last part of the history: testimony.
