Beautiful....
Wonderful macro work Nick. Simple is often best and this proves it.
I want to try and explain something about DOF because of the right one being slightly out of focus. How I have always looked at macro work and DOF is this. For my eyes and brain to work on photomacrography it needs depth and this I get by what I call DOF fall off. It almost gives me a 3D effect. So where some insist on everything being sharp, in focus and max DOF, I do not expect it and never will. Its a fact of working with F/stops and macro. For me it gives a macro shot with a feel of depth and without that DOF fall off, it often looks flat.
Sorry Nick, its a long one but I like to explain what a photograph means to me and how I feel and see.
This macro for me is a feeling of soft, gentle flowing shapes with gorgeous colours and depth, Excellent IMO. I just hope you understand english
All the very best Nick and keep this standard of photomacrography coming, please.
Danny.
