Marmaris has been based in 6 century B.C. and has received name Feskos. In 334 year up to н.э. Feskos has been subdued Alexander the Great by armies, then it became a part Byzantian to empire. After city osmanli turks have grasped seldjuky, and later. In 16 century Sultan Sulejman has restored already enough destroyed walls of city, builded during antique times, and has named city Memaris. Later the city has received a name Marmaris.
Very picturesque улочки as streamlets a fan flowing down from mountains necessarily lead to a market or the quay covered by a web of coastal small restaurants with the customs, a smell of entertainments and unforgettable east colour.
