Once I wanted to study the "against the light" (controluce) technique and I was searching for a beautiful subject for my shots. So I saw, in the middle of a boundless field, this enormous, solitary tree: it seemed to me an ancient hermit! I searched for the best point of view "against the light" and I shot! I know this photo is not technically perfect, but I like it very much: first of all because it's my first "against the light" shot and then because I love that stately subject, surrounded by that powerfull sunlight!
