Another eye-catching detail, rusting iron bases lamps and "castles and shields", the most significant symbols of the Portuguese flag, “The National Coat of Arms”!
It’s crystal clear for me that photography is a visual process, not an intellectual one, so may be because of that, I’m much more interested in the history of my subjects, what they represent and where they come from…I do not aspire to be an artist and wouldn’t like my works to be seen in a wider context of art, I’m really free of artistic pretension, just want to share some seemingly insignificant details which I consider culturally interesting and important!!!
