Sorry about the heavy title. It seemed appropriate.
This was an evening scene from Saguaro National Monument East, outside of Tucson, Arizona. It is just a study in the natural progression of the life of a Saguaro. I am sure that both of these cacti are hundreds of years old. I may one of these days post some pictures of the "Old Soldiers" as they appear now. However, for the moment I will let them stand in their previous gloryand in the imaginations of those who visit this collection of photos.
