1927 the Prince of Wales Hotel was opened above the township and the lake of Waterton in Alberta. It is among the most photgraphed hotels in the world. At one time it was among the most expensive to stay, hosting guests like England's royal family. In 1895, a 140 sq. km (54 sq. miles) area was protected by the the Canadian government and became Canada's fourth national park. It is now known as Waterton Lakes National Park of Canada. This hotel stands proudly above the lake, and is still open for business.
Sometimes I like the richness and warmth of a film camera shot, although the HP scanner doesn't always come through on getting the fine details. Taken with out Canon EOS Rebel 35 mm. Great camera except it drains batteries like crazy.
