Photo about time.. and intense silences by silvia marmori

Again Sicily.. again at Segesta.. and all delays and stops at the way, made the arrival few time before sunset..
Long shadows on the far mountains .. warm sun at fields.. and an intense atmosphere at the steps of the Greek theater.. silence fulfilled with ancient voices, with the souls of those who were there .. .. and our silence also, at that instant when shooting... and the future silent emotions of those who would come years after us..
And to my mind came a phrase from "Ajax", the Sophocles' play :"The long unmeasured pulse of time moves everything. There is nothing hidden that it cannot bring to light, nothing once known that may not become unknown."
But i had the certainty that, that silence so intensely felt, would persist beyond time... never unknown.
