Photo Night blooming cactus blossom ! by B.K. von Bernhard

This cactus only opens it's blossoms at night.
How I found that out is , I was on a walk along the beach very early in the morning before the sun was up. I spotted this cactus up on the cliff over the beach. I climbed up to it to see this flower growing out of the cactus.

That early in the morning , because of darkness I left my camera back at the house. I went back to get it and when I got back to the cactus it was already light outside and the blossoms were closed. ah ha I said ! I will come back when the sun is down and here you can see the result of my leaving my camera behind. Never again !

Barry, this is amazing, .... I have never seen flower beautiful as this one.
So soft and delicate, .... and light is just perfect.
