In Russian (and earlier - in Soviet) entrances it is often possible to see very interesting things from the remote past. They have served, became unnecessary or it have found more modern replacement, but to throw out them on a dump for some reason it is a pity. This old refrigerator is most senior on this ladder platform, and may be, it till now in working order. People who used it, have died, and it became the oldest inhabitant of a floor, whom someone reminds of the childhood, someone tells about a life of parents or grandmothers with grandfathers... Who knows, what of our things as will stand at an entrance and to remind of us to descendants?..
(May be, something expose in an entrance too?:))

I really liked your thoughts in your notes and your english is fine ! I like the photo too but maybe crop just above the refrigerator to remove that light off the wall. Nice work Dmitrij !

Thanks for the notes. It is very interesting. Your english is very good! Here in Brazil we have also a lot of this, to maintain old refrigerators. For incredible that it seems, the old refrigerator last much more than a new.
