Yep ! thats me, Spike. I have a long family history. They even have one in the family called the golden Spike. He was used when America linked it's first railroad from coast to coast. He was the final Spike driven into the railroad wooden tie. Since that time in the past there have been many of us who have served our country well. But now a new generation is here. They don't go into wooden ties , but are put into cement ones. So you see we are a dying breed. They just throw us aside to rust away. A few years from now you won't be able to find any of us around.
So when you see one of us just lying on the ground, pick us up and take us home. We are a bit of history !
Just tell them you know Spike !
