I like very much the high-contrast in this scene which really confines my attention to the silhouettes on the foreground, although it has a great sky too! For me this photograph has a great mood and a great visual impact, the lack of colour also emphasizes the way of conveying a sentimental feeling which will not be posssible in colour photographs.
This is just an opinion, I really like B&W!
