notes:
On the second day of my trip to Alaska this year we had quite a bit of snow in the morning.
Temperatures were not that bad with -12 to -15 degrees celcius, but there also was 25 to 30 mph wiind wich did'nt make it more pleasant to be outside and make shots of the Bald Eagles.
After a little pep talk to myself I desided to go outside and try to make some panning shots of the eagles in flight.
Did put my Nikon D2x with the 70-200mm VR lens and TC1.7E II converter attached on an aperture of 5.6 and ISO 400 and did wait for what would come.
The camera had a hard time with AF because of all the flakes of snow it was'nt easy to focus on the bird.
After 2 1/2 hours I did go back to my nice, and above all things, warm hotel room to upload the images on to the laptop in the hope there would be some decent ones.
This is one I am verry happy with and therefore wanted to show to you.
Thanks in advance for viewing and critiques.
Warm regards and have a nice weekend,
Harry

Либо это лучшая фотография которую я видел в своей жизни, либо монтаж.

Thank you very much for your kind words Goryachev. Much appreciated.
This no Photoshop work. It's not made out of more different pictures, but a full frame real ones of a lifetime shot.
Warm regards and have a nice weekend, Harry

Thanks for sharing your story about shooting the photo, it's interesting to read. The photo has an incredible quality, I guess it is saleable in US.
