The Roman Baths in Hamat Gader were built during the mid-2nd century C.E. and were in constant use until their destruction in the 8th century. It was a remarkable complex built by the people of nearby Gadera situated
on the Gilad mountain ridge. The walls were as much as 3 meters thick and 3 to 4 stories high. The wide gateways and passage allowed a free flow of vast numbers visitors. The strucrure was ventilated by windows which bathed the interior in light. Coloured glass mosaics and frescoes adomed the walls and vaulted ceilings

С тех времен, с римских, кто только ни побывал на этой земле! Причем строили мало, в основном рушили:) Особая заслуга в этом деле принадлежит турецким товарищам, много веков тут обитали. Я тоже думаю, что стены эти не сами разрушились...
