great picture, but why would you put this under macro humor

Melanie Kipp Melanie Kipp #2 Wed 6 Jun 2001 22:06

LOL Trine! It DOES look like a little golf ball in the center!

Todd Hansell Todd Hansell #3 Wed 6 Jun 2001 22:47

Let me say this. One of the greatest achievements of a good photographer is to take an average everyday thing and make the viewers see it for the first time. I love the golfball slant but there is even more here. I think of my 3-and-a-half-year-old daughter running around the backyard looking for "wishes". Then I think about my own childhood, those lost days that I get to look back on and smile. Thanks for a couple of nice moments...

Are you sure it is not a golf ball {:~)) Wonderful shot Trine.

They`re fascinating when you see them like this, aren`t they? I have a shot just like this. Maybe a tad more unsharp mask and/or zooming in even closer might make for an even more interesting shot.

cute smile wonder if it`d look better if it were in perfect shape. probably not. like it as it is smile

Thank you! I put out of center on purpose. I liked it best that way. I guess it`s a matter of individual taste. Todd, I`m really glad I put you back in your childhood memories. And thanks for a great compliment! Mike and Alenka, I have a lot of different shots of both this and other ones. For me this came out the best. A perfect one was a bit dull, and closer made it loose details that I thought was important. But, thanks everyone! wink Trine
