On a side valley just east of Iron Pass the rock is deeply coloured by ferrous oxides, which gives the pass its name and stains the glacial ice red. Chancing onto this pond, which was shaded, allowed an interesting way to lighten the foreground and connect it with the background.

Что бы ты не писал, это обыкновенная лужа, и грязный холм! А вода вот-вот выльется, настолько большой крен.
