I noticed a slight dark spot in the upper left.
Same problem I had myself in my D80, I never said it depended on what.
After many tests I've come to the conclusion that not depend on the objective but from the body. In fact I found both the 18/135 and with the 120/400, with the Tamron 90 instead everything OK.
When I bought the D300S I was afraid that the thing from happening again but fortunately everything is OK.
For the photo I see very well, the sky is very gray but I think it was in reality.
