Nico, thanks for sharing your work with us here...:) This is a stunning portrait. Pardon my dual mentality here but I see two alternatives - either the child is petting the bird and will later release it or he`s getting ready to twist its neck - his eyes sure reflect the latter. I might be exaggerating, as I tend to do )

Great capture. The expression in the child`s eyes is unfathomable. This is like a story where we don`t know the ending.
