I think that an image can be interesting also with
poor light, as here. Not necessary ever the sunny exposition, and particular (if with good lenses....) the effect of half-light.
This is your choice. It's only my little opinion.
Anyway, I thing white must be more in blue tone to see whiter.
You have a good composition, but without light it's flat. You can increase ,ore lights in photoshop by small correction by Adjustment->Shadow/Highlights.
I hope my small addition will be helpfull.
