Oh... one of the nicest ones you have posted in my opinion! I live the mood created by the setting sun`s colors... I see a little artification due to compression...posted closer to 120k instead of the 70k might have prevented it. What is the significance of the statue? I really like it David!
Very soothing, calm and calming... The sculpture comes alive as a passerby quietly observes it watching the sunset. Solitude and quietude. Gorgeous copper-like tonality. (I wonder what the inscription reads). David, I like it so very much. It`s a rather different image from you, I think, and one of my favorites from your collection.
To Melanie Kipp:
Thanks for your comment. The one of "TIFF" is better this one.but the TIFF is too big for this Web.
the garden here was the birthday`s gift of a queen .the statue is a cattle.defending the lake and the bridge is its assignment. The cattle has been here over 140 years.
To Alenka K.
The cattle is a royal sculpture.what wrote on the cattle is curse`s words-----just as the people who want to destroy it will die .....
Thanks for your mark and comments.
This is such a serene capture. I like how the sun is first reflecting on the water, and then dancing to the sculpture. The arc and arches of the bridge set off a very gracefully flowing scene.
Impressive bull, David! The reddish spot on its butt is very decorative.
David - this is just a wonderful combination of elements - the colors and textures are excellent - a mesmerizing piece
David I love this one. Everyone has already said what is terrific about it. Great title and the story is, too.
A wonderful image, I agree with all of the above! :~)
