Excellent detail in the skin and beard - I suggest a little more light around the eyes - but excellent just the same.

This is so wonderful! I love it! What a wonderful capture. I love the flow of the hair and the eyes that hold wisdom for those that might seek it. Great detail and a photo that is saying much to me without words.

The detail and contrast are great and the expression looks very natural. In my opinion the positioning or the cropping of the face could have been done differently to really make this an outstanding image. I would either crop this image closer concentrating on the eyes, nose and mouth or leave more space on the left and the bottom. Currently it looks a bit squashed up like a passport photo. Undoubtedly the detail and the expression are great and help portray the personality of this man. The photo is very good, and from my point of view could be fantastic with those minor adjustments.

Great portrait, fill in flash could have improved the lighting around the eyes.
