On April 25th ,every year Australia and New Zealand
commemorates ANZAC Day.This day acknowledges all those who were killed
while fighting for Australia & New Zealand.At 6.00am on the 25th a bugler
sounds the call.This time coincides with the landing of ANZAC troops on the Gallipoli Peninsular,Turkey during WW1. This was a military disaster and it is said that after Gallipoli both Australia and New Zealand "came of age" as independant countries,no longer dependant on Great Britain.
The person in this photograph is on his way to the dawn service.
