Nice, very nice! I didn`t know teleconvertoers were available for our cameras! I just tried out a Tiffen Wide angle on mine yesterday. Looks like it`s going to do the job. Back to your photo.... perhaps a tad too much empty space above the bird? Just my opinion, though.

I love the composition it is a beautiful shot - There is a touch too much space above the head and for some reason the image looks a bit overprocessed. This may have been the TC - I am not sure - Could also be the compression (the edges are a bit ragged). I am impressed by the tight shot.
