An atmospheric scene at Toddington on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway, England. The engine (which had its back end facing me) was a long way from the only available vantage point, and I had to use my 100-300mm lens at its longest setting to get this photograph. Canon EOS 1000.

I love it! The silhouette of the man at the back of the engine and all of the other component meld this into a scene that I would like to view in person. Very nice inclusion of the muted `S` curve of the track that leads to the control tower (if that is the right word) smile Manufactured man-made clouds. Great capture!

Very impressive. It captures the spirit and the strenght of what steam locomotive are/were. I think of the person central (a hookman?) and I think about the peopl in the tower. I can smell the coal and the grease. I can here those wonderful sounds. Alllll Aboard!!!

Очень интересная работа. Точно передано ощущение раннего утра. Композиция снимка выполнена грамотно. Очень кстати и в нужном месте оказалась фигура человека. Она является фокусом композиции, притягивает взгляд. Эту фотографию хочется рассматривать.
Very interesting work. The sensation of early morning is precisely transferred. The composition of a picture is executed correctly. Very opportunely and in the necessary place there was a figure of the person. She is focus of a composition, draws a sight. This photo is to be considered.
