This is a photograph looking up at the pattern of skylights set into the concrete domed ceiling of a room at Eltham Palace, London. By underexposing, the shape of the dome has been lost, leaving just this abstract pattern. And by taking the picture markedly off-centre, the lights create the illusion almost of a spiral.

yes indeed
the spiral thing is very smart
(the thumbnail reveals it even better though)
a trick that makes my eyes ache much more - it is not easy to stare into the bloody screen every single day of this silly life as we all know it is a source of light after all)
i do not know about the rating though - i have some doubts when it comes to significance (what would aliens say for instance)
but we should not worry about that - i am not allowed to rate
