notes:
The little battered angel and the little broken bird were quietly and sadly sitting in an out of the way spot in the cemetery. The shot was taken at the Memorial Garden of St. Thomas` Church Whitemarsh in Fort Washington, PA. The place is also known to be a Lenape burial ground.

Very nice, Todd. We do share that love of photographing statues. With his hand this little guy seems to be saying, `Hey, I`m not broken, am I?`

Unfortunately, depending on moods and what`s going on in my life I see things in different ways... All I keep picturing when looking at this is the little boy from "The Shining" saying: "Redrum... Redrum... redrum..." maybe I will fell better tomorrow.

This is a Betty Beck poem written for one of my images of a forgotten angel:

My child...
You are not forgotten...
Only held forever in my dreams...
Love endureth and is ageless...

I think this fits for this little angel and bird, too, Todd. I love it. I sure miss Sequoyah on this forum. She was truly an inspiration for me.

I hope this take the redrum out of your head my dear Todd. I was worried about my little forgotten angel in the cemetery - till Betty wrote about her....then I felt better smile

Poignant capture, Todd.

Emotional shot! IMHO, the object slightly merges with the background.

No commend because this photo speaks for itself!
