If you read you learn. If you try it will work. I keep learning and trying to do better with each photo I shoot and work on.... If you look you may see ( look close) the sky was dropped in with no line in the trees. Took me a long time to get it right.

This is a difficult photo for exposure - with three or four gradients of light. I might have EXPOSED (not focused) on the shaded water, or about half-way down the far slope. As it is, you exposed on the trees to the left, which are incidental to the subject. It seems you also focused on the trees.

Please feel free to be critical of any of my photos - I can learn only from criticism either negative or positive. I think if I can learn the nuances of exposure better I will be an improved photographer.
